I just received notification from Wedding Wire that I am officially the winner of a 2010 Bride's Choice Awards. Yipee! I am so thrilled! The awards were based on the reviews that I received from my 2009 clients that were posted on their website. Thank you so much for all of your kind words and positive reviews. This award means so much to me. Now, keep in mind that I love my brides. Every single one of them that I have had the honor to work with have been more than just clients for me. They are friends. And that is why I know that Suzanne will more than enjoy this video clip I put together. She gives a whole new meaning to the saying "Falling for You". And yet she still was able to laugh about it afterwards. Such a great sense of humor!

I'm working on wrapping up several weddings from earlier this season, but I couldn't help but share this brief sneak peek of Hilarie and Joe from their Halloween wedding this past Saturday. It was an amazing day and definitely my absolute favorite Halloween from my entire life. So much fun! Congratulations, Hilarie and Joe!

Suzanne and Chris were hitched on a gorgeous, perfect Fall day with their reception at the Dell-Lea Country Club in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. Everything was absolutely perfect and the bride and groom could not have asked for a better day. Thank you for letting me be a part of your big day!

Kristine & Trevor

Kristine and Trevor tied the knot on October 3rd at the beautiful Samoset Resort. Everything about the day was absolutely perfect once you look past the rain, which couldn't keep these two lovebirds inside. Kristine even had I Do Spas from Augusta, Maine, come to the hotel to do their hair, make up, and nails that morning. Everyone had such a great time, me included! Everything looked absolutely amazing all the way down to the detail oriented table arrangements at dinner. Thank you so much, Kristine and Trevor, for letting me be a part of your big day. It truly was an honor. I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!

Update to My Favorite Cake of 2009

The catering company that created my favorite work of art for 2009 is called Cornucopia Catering in Bristol, New Hampshire. The brides both report that the owner was extremely easy to work with and I can testify that the cake tasted absolutely amazing. Melanie + Sam = Engaged

Melanie and Sam. What can I say? These two love birds are just contagious. Everything about them is. From Sam's giant smile when he looked at Melanie to the way Melanie's eyes twinkled when she looked at Sam. You couldn't help but feel the love. Next year at this time, these two will be married and starting the next big chapter in their lives. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this journey you two are on. You are awesome!

Jenessa & John's Wedding

On September 19th my assistant and I headed out to Peaks Island in Casco Bay to capture the beautiful wedding of Jenessa & John. Besides the wind, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day! You could just feel the love in the air around these two amazing people. Thank you so much, Jenessa & John, for letting me capture your big day!

My favorite cake of 2009!

While I'm in the process of uploading mass amounts of photos to a couple different galleries, I had to post the cake that Mary & Neil and Kathy & Cam had at their gorgeous wedding at the Rocks Estate in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. My husband and I share a lot in common with the love stories that this cake represents. It totally made me want to marry my husband again just so I can have a cake like this. As soon as I remember the bakery name, I will definitely share!

The Wedding of Kathy & Cam and Mary & Neil

Kathy & Cam and Mary & Neil were married on September 6th at The Rocks Estate in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. The weather was absolutely perfect. The views were amazing. And both couples took my breath away. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of the first day of the next chapter in your lives. You are all such amazing people!

Lindsey & Jay's Wedding

On August 22, Lindsey and Jay started a brand new chapter of their life together as they walked down the aisle at the State Street Church in Portland, Maine. Hurricane Bill managed to stay far enough out to sea that we were blessed with gorgeous, although humid, weather that complimented their wedding perfectly. The bride and groom even surprised their wedding party with a fire truck ride around the city for their portraits before the reception. It was the perfect day for the perfect couple. Congratulations, Newlyweds! May your marriage be as beautiful as the day that it started.
